Like many souls on here, I yearn for the days before curated algorithms and short form content (although, the closest experience of this I had was admittedly only a few years on Google+ back in the early - mid 2010s). When I learned about the Indie Web, the idea of learning how to code so I could make my own website consumed me until I started to teach myself HTML and CSS a few days later--you are now looking at the result. So far, learning a new skill has been a lot of fun! As I am sure you can tell, this site is very much a work in progress. Please feel free to come back later!
I am an early-career ecologist, lifelong artist, and lover of fantastical worlds. On this website, you can (or, more accurately, will) find ramblings about nature's intricacies, a collection of my handiwork, a list of media I have consumed, and shrines dedicated to some of my favorite interests (including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Minecraft, and insects).
